This is going to be an amazing event not to miss. I’ll be tabling and socializing at this year’s MythinformationCon in Milwaukee Wisconsin, September 30 (2017, a Saturday). Details and tickets are available here.

Social media artists Armoured Skeptic and Shoe0nhead will be speaking, as well as Melissa Chen (Editor & Curator at Global Secular Humanist Movement, Co-Founder & COO at Securing Change, and more), and Tom & Cecil of Cognitive Dissonance. And I must say, that’s a very cutting edge lineup. It will not fail to entertain and inform. The conference will also feature a debate on the future of Islam, between the renowned Faisal Saeed Al-Mutar (for the secular ex-Muslim perspective), and Asra Nomani (for the Islamic believer’s perspective), which will be moderated by Matt Dillahunty. And then there will be a gala premiere of the movie Batman & Jesus, with atheist celebrities attending, followed by what will surely be quite a VIP party!

Special guests likely to be at the party (and around the con generally) will include not just the folks just named, but also: comedian, actor, and director Paul Provenza; author and activist Ron Miscavige (father of the Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige); Armin Navabi and Allie Jackson, founder and president of Atheist Republic (respectively); the renowned Aron Ra; the noted YouTuber, Godless Engineer; podcasters Eli Bosnick and Noah Lugeons (of The Scathing Atheist) and Seth Andrews (of The Thinking Atheist); Bryce Blankenagel, of the Naked Mormon podcast; the ever-entertaining author David Fitzgerald; Coalition of Reason coordinator, Melissa Pugh; and me.

Complete details, updates, and tickets are online and ready to go. Book now! And start planning your trip to attend. The VIP party is at The Aloft hotel (just blocks away from the venue), which has a special convention rate you can ask for if you want to book rooms there (details here). But downtown Milwaukee has a lot of other options for rooming during the convention if that’s too pricey. And, oh, BTW, there is an actual bar at the historic venue, in the same room as the audience, speakers, and tablers. Just, you know, FYI.

See you there!
