Attention all Canadians! I’ll be touring Canada from Vancouver to Toronto next month. I’ll be doing twelve cities in twelve days! Share this around. And if you’ll be near any of my stops, come say hi!

In some places I’m giving a presentation; in others, just hanging out at a pub. But in every case, I’ll have all my books on hand, and I’ll be selling and signing anything you bring or buy (every title should be available, unless any sell out). I’ll be happy to chat about anything over drinks, too. For the presentations, sponsors may be charging at the door (to help cover the venue), but very affordably (around $10-20 Canadian).

So mark your calendars!

Why am I doing this astonishing thing? I’ll be literally driving in my own car from one city to the next. All on my way back home to Ohio, after attending a pagan wedding rite for one of my girlfriends in Washington, who married one of her loves. That’s right. I’m polyamorous and a libertine. And in honor of that I’ll be celebrating ethical nonmonogamy all the way home. So if anyone wants to ask to be my date at any of the events below, you are welcome to message me on Facebook about it!

Here are the tour stops:

Pubmeet at The Shameful Tiki Room (4362 Main Street) from 7 to 10pm. (See comments for where we relocated.)

  • August 22 (Tuesday) • Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Pubmeet at the Rockstar Bar in the historic Algonquin Hotel (864 Queen St. East) from 7 to 10pm. This place has to be seen. I know this city is pretty sleepy and isolated so no one might be around to join me, but you should totally try if you can! Just to check this thing out!

  • August 24 (Thursday) • Toronto, ON

Presentation for Reality Revolutions on “Why the Gospels Are Fiction” at the Northern District Library (40 Orchard View Blvd.), in the Gwen Liu room upstairs. Starting at 7pm. Get your tickets now at EventBrite. Because they are cheaper there than at the door!

  • August 25 (Friday) • Waterloo, ON

Changed Plans: I will not be at the Games on Tap Board Game Café that evening (but I might be that afternoon: if you are still interested in gaming then, message me about it on Facebook). Instead, I will be speaking & taking questions on The Scientist in the Early Roman Empire for SOFREE from 7-10pm in The Malt Room of the Lion Brewery at the Huether Hotel (59 King Street North). I’ll also be joining them for dinner at 6pm in The Cavern (also at the Huether). I’ll be selling and signing books as usual.

So that’s Canada! I’m also doing some tour stops in the U.S. on the way there and back. I’ll announce those next. And yes, in case you were inclined to ask: I do have in mind planning an Eastern Canada tour next year!
