I’ll be there because I am attending the Society of Biblical Literature convention in Denver, Colorado that same weekend, as a society member and a fellow of the Westar Institute (best known for the Jesus Seminar).
I won’t be presenting my own paper this year. But I will definitely be on some of the panels discussing the Future of God and the Origins of Christianity on Friday 16 November 2018. This is a separate but associated event. Details on the SBL convention are here, if you want to attend. The Westar panels that Friday are also open to anyone who is registered for the SBL conference, if you want to sit in the audience.
Update: Update: I won’t be doing the exchange with Pitts at SBL in Dever after all. I can’t stay the extra day. We might organize something at a future SBL con. I’m still doing the Sunday pubmeet though! (And the Westar panels.)
